In recent years, immunophenotyping by flow cytometry has become an indispensable tool for the integrated diagnosis and monitoring of oncohaematological diseases. It also plays an important role in immune, oncological and infectious diseases.

Hospital Laboratories

Hospital Laboratories are operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and carry out both the determinations of patients treated in the Hospital Emergency Departments, as well as those necessary for the continuous monitoring of admitted patients.

Microbiology

Clinical microbiology department has a multidisciplinary function. Its main activity is the diagnosis of infectious diseases in biological samples taken from patients. Rapid techniques such as antigen detection or rapid PCR are available, as well as more conventional techniques such as culture and antibiogram to determine sensitivity or resistance to antimicrobial agents.

Genetics

The Genetics area works in a multidisciplinary manner with the different medical specialties, in order to achieve a diagnosis of pathologies of genetic origin or predisposition. The technology we have ranges from the latest incorporations in molecular genetics to classical cytogenetics, which allows an individualized approach in each case.
